Sassoon, Flora
(1859-1936)
   English Hebrew scholar, daughter-in-law of David Solomon Sassoon1). Initially she managed her husband's firm in Bombay; later she settled in England. In 1924 she gave a discourse on the Talmud at Jews College, and subsequently she published an essay on Rashi in the Jewish Forum.
